Darren has been shooting professionally as a portrait photographer since 2007, and shooting landscape work since somewhere around 1999 when he bought a Minolta 35mm camera, an updated version of the camera he learned on as a kid, took it to Germany, and fell in love with photography all over again.
Very much a “generalist” photographer… Darren shoots fine art portraits, environmental portraits, high school seniors, corporate head shots, landscapes, events, realty… some days, he just enjoys a chance to shoot a pretty flower. Starting with his photo “Sterling” in 2010, he has won multiple awards for his fine art, landscape, and portraiture work, and his work has appeared on billboards and has been published in multiple magazines (PhotoshopUser, DigitalPhoto Pro, Food and Nutrition) and a book (Our MaryJo) as well. Darren is a member of Professional Photographers of America, as well as Nikon Professional Services.
Darren has been the WB POWER! Official Photographer since March 2013!
He lives and works out of Dallas, Pennsylvania. His work can be found at www.darrenelias.com.
